Like a living work, Elly Santoro grew very organically over a short time. First, as a digital collage later elaborated for a commissioned piece, which marks the encounter between Sir Taki and Kevin Carrozzo, a Swiss artist who collaborated on the third version titled Elly Anita Santoro.

Subsequently, the artist initiated a reappropriation process by making a fourth work that culminated in returning to the original medium, thus creating a final new digital collage titled Elly Maria Santoro.

The five iterations of Elly Santoro come as a performative act. By means of a generative approach, the finished work does not abandon the prospect of changing over time.
